German millet matures quickly, producing coarse, leafy, slender stems that grow from 2-5 feet tall.
Planting information: plant in late spring/early summer at a rate of 15-20 lbs. per acre (if drilled) or 20-30 lbs. per acre (if broadcast). Seed should be placed at a depth of 1/4-1/2 inch in soil with a pH of 5.5-7.
